1. What is Geelix?
Geelix is a new video game system; for remote playing of games, in-game social tools, game development, ++:
- Geelix LiveGames enables you to play the latest games demos, remotely, without installation.
- Geelix InGame provides in-game features such as chat, voice, video recorder, ++.
- Lots of stuff, or you can just sit back and watch others playing :)

2. Why would I want Geelix?
Games is all about fun and entertainment. Don't spend your time and effort on downloading huge game demos (often 10GB+ downloads);
only to find you need to upgrade your graphics/video card to geometry shader support. And, when you finally get the game demo working,
you find it isn't the kind of game you like, and so the search continues.
Or, if you're a parent and you're kids use the computer aswell, you also need to find good games the whole family can play.

Further, the in-game tools enable you to share your gaming experiences
with your friends and others. Share your gameplay, live, with your friends, or record high definition

3. What are the system requirements for running the Geelix LiveGames thin client?
The Geelix LiveGames thin client is currently available for:

To install it on an office machine, you may need administrator privileges (home users
shouldn't have this problem). We recommend a minimum of 512MB of RAM, a 1GHz Pentium
processor, and a Internet connection of 3 Mbps or higher.
4. Is the installation safe?
The software has been designed to be very safe to install.
It does not install any system components, or anything else that may make the computer unstable.
The software only places a few EXE's and DLL's in the program files folder.
The software, and Geelix, fully respects your privacy.
5. Will Geelix affect my computer's performance?
The software shouldn't slow down your computer's performance at all, because it is only
used when you use Geelix.
6. What about my privacy?
We treat your privacy with the upmost respect.
Geelix doesn't make your computer's content accessible to anyone.

7. What is Geelix LiveGames?
The Geelix LiveGames thin client is a software application for playing the latest
game demos, remotely, over the Internet. The thin client connects to our 'LiveGames' game servers.
8. How does it work?
The Geelix LiveGames basically connects to the game server, sends user input data
(such as kyboard, mouse, joystick and gamepad) to the server. The server
renders the user input data in the game, captures video from the game, and sends
the video feed to the Geelix LiveGames thin client.
9. Problems connecting to the game server?
The thin client uses UDP port 80 (or 13580) to connect to the servers. If you have antivirus or
firewall software, that may be the cause of problems. An easy way to check whether that is the problem, is to
quit all antivirus/firewall software, and then try to connect. If you're still not able to connect, then
it might be because there is a hardware firewall blocking the connection. Try checking with your ISP.
And, of course, it may be because the particular server is 'down' for the moment, in which case, please be
patient. :)
10. Problems using it?
You may wish to try different video/audio bitrates, packet sizes, scalings, and frame rates.
